SecureDock Inbound URL
Your Inbound URL is designed to provide you and your clients with an easy and secure way to transmit sensitive or large file sets from any internet-connected computer or device. No software installation is required, and your clients DO NOT need a login or password to send you files securely. SecureDock protects your client’s sensitive information by removing the typical exposures that occur when documents are distributed via standard email.
Setting up your email signature link (instructions)
Login to your SecureDock account by visiting https://www.mysecuredock.com/m
- Click on My URLs on the left navbar.
- Copy your Inbound URL or pre-formatted hyperlink to your clipboard. (Image 1)
- Paste your link to the bottom of your email signature block or your company’s website. (Image 2)

Microsoft Outlook (Desktop Version)
- Copy your Inbound URL or pre-formatted hyperlink to your clipboard. (Image 1)
- Open Microsoft Outlook and create a new email message.
- On the Message tab, in the Include group, click Signature, and then click “Signatures”
- Select your existing Email Signature from the list.
- Paste your link into the textbox.
- Click Save
Microsoft Outlook 365 (Web Version)
- Copy your Inbound URL or pre-formatted hyperlink to your clipboard. (Image 1)
- Login to your Microsoft 365 Outlook (web version)
- From the navbar, choose Settings
> Options.
- Under Options, choose MAIL > Layout > Email signature.
- Paste your link into the textbox.
- Save Changes.
Gmail
- Copy your Inbound URL or pre-formatted hyperlink to your clipboard. (Image 1)
- Open Gmail.
- Click on the Gear icon and choose settings.
- Go to the General tab, then scroll to Signatures.
- Paste your link into the textbox.
- To format the text, select the text, and then use the style and formatting buttons to select the options that you want.
- Scroll down to the bottom and save your settings.
AOL Mail
- Copy your Inbound URL or pre-formatted hyperlink to your clipboard. (Image 1)
- Open AOL Mail.
- Click Set Mail Signature from the menu.
- Click Create.
- Give the Signature a name (Under Signature Name).
- Paste your link into the textbox.
- To format the text, select the text, and then use the style and formatting buttons to select the options that you want.
- Click OK to save.
How others send you files securely (example)
- Sender clicks on the email signature link to open the security splash page on their browser.
- Sender must first verify that they are human by clicking the reCAPTCHA checkbox. They will then be redirected to the secure upload page where they can complete their secure file transfer.
- Sender / client can follow the simple instructions to complete their secure file transfer.
Step 1: Select documents to send
Sender can Browse Device to select files or drag and drop multiple items into the selection field.
Step 2: Enter sender’s information
Sender must input name, email address and Reference ID (optional) into the required fields
*A Reference ID is separate identifier that is intended to help your recipient keep track of your file package. (Example: Loan ID, Policy #, Case #, etc..).
+Add a message (Optional)
Instructions to recipient: Instructions will be displayed within the body of the email notifications and is not part of the secure file package.
Secure Message to recipient: Secure message will automatically be encrypted and will only be visible to your recipient after they have entered their user verification.
+Email Notifications
Sender can select which automated email notifications they would like to receive. Addition CC or BCC email addresses may also be added here.
Step 3: Send
Once all required steps have been completed, the sender can click the Send Files Securely button to begin the upload. Once the upload process has finished, the sender will receive a pop-up message confirming that their file transfer has been completed. The sender will also receive an automated confirmation email as well as a download notice once the files have been retrieved.
