Acceptable Use Policy

Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) sets forth the principles that govern the use by customers of the Web-based products and services provided by SecureDock, LLC. This AUP is designed to help protect SecureDock, LLC, our customers, and the Internet community from unauthorized, irresponsible, abusive or illegal activities.
Definitions
Licensed Product: SecureDock, LLC software, database structure, trademarked images, and written material.
Users: Individual client users, end users, and Professional Advisor Firms.
Web Application: SecureDock, LLC’s software programs; written/coded computer programming.
User Content: Individual documents uploaded and stored within the SecureDock system and its hosting environment.
General Violations
This AUP identifies the actions that SecureDock, LLC considers to be Prohibited Actions (meaning those actions which create a denial of access or impediment of service).
Prohibited Actions: General Terms and Conditions of Use
- Use of the Licensed Product for any illegal purpose.
- Submit/Upload/Distribute User Content that contains lies, falsehoods or misrepresentations that could damage SecureDock, its affiliates, and anyone else.
- Submit/Upload/Distribute User Content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, pornographic, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, violate any law, or is otherwise inappropriate.
- Copying/duplicating the Licensed Product or creating subsets or derivative web applications from the Web-Application and or Licensed Product.
- Unauthorized assigning, selling or passing along the Licensed Product.
- Unauthorized publishing or otherwise disseminating the Licensed Product or creating subsets or derivative web application from the Web-Application from commercial use or sale.
- Providing unauthorized services for a fee using the Licensed Product or any subsets or derivatives thereof.
- Allowing Web Applications from the Licensed Product to be made available to others or downloading the Licensed Product onto any electronic storage media or distributing or transferring the Web Application or search results in any form (printed, electronically relayed, posted to public list services or bulletin boards, or magnetically stored) to, or for the benefit, of others.
- Professional Service Firms, Professional Advisor Firms, should contact their Site Administrator regarding the General Terms and Conditions of their License Agreement.
Prohibited Actions: Impersonation/Forgery
- Adding, removing, or modifying identifying network header information (aka “spoofing”) in an effort to attempting to impersonate any person by using forged headers or other identifying information.
- Impersonating anyone else or lying about your affiliation with another person or entity.
Prohibited Actions: Network Unfriendly Activity
- Any activities which adversely affect the ability of other people or systems to use SecureDock services or the Internet are prohibited. This includes “denial of service” attacks against the SecureDock servers, network hosts or individual user(s).
Prohibited Actions: Commercial E-mail
- Sending unsolicited commercial e-mail. Using a SecureDock e-mail or Website address to distribute commercial e-mail is prohibited.
- Sending large volumes of unsolicited e-mail (mail bombing, junk e-mail chain letters).
- Sending unsolicited commercial e-mail. Using a SecureDock e-mail or Website address to distribute commercial e-mail is prohibited.
- Sending large volumes of unsolicited e-mails (mail bombing, junk e-mail, chain letters, unauthorized advertising) is prohibited.
Prohibited Actions: Access Control and Authentication
- Attempting to circumvent user authentication or security of any host, network, or account (aka “cracking”) is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, accessing data not intended for the customer, logging into a server or account the customer is not expressly authorized to access, or probing the security of SecureDock servers and networks.
- Unauthorized distribution of passwords and/or access codes is strictly prohibited.
Prohibited Actions: Proxy Hunters, Spiders, Robots
- Using any program/script/command, or sending messages of any kind, designed to interfere with a User’s session, by any means, locally or by the Internet.
Enforcement
SecureDock, LLC reserves the right to monitor Internet access to the SecureDock services by authorized users as part of the normal course of its business practice. Should SecureDock, LLC discover User(s) engaged in Prohibited Actions as outlined above, which create denial of access or impediment of service, and/or which in any way adversely affects SecureDock’s ability to provide services, SecureDock reserves the right to temporarily suspend user’s access to the SecureDock Host Server and/or Web Application. SecureDock shall make the cause thereof, as soon as reasonably possible. This temporary suspension will remain in effect until the Prohibited Actions(s) have ceased. If SecureDock deems it appropriate the temporary suspension of service will become permanent.
